Stuck? Finish That Novel

“The hard part about writing a novel is finishing it.”  Ernest Hemingway

Lost in the weeds with your novel? Find your way out by focusing on structure, narrative arcs, characters, and more, in this practical day-long workshop into writing — and finishing — your novel. Deborah Turrell Atkinson and Lise McClendon, long-time JHWC faculty, will lead this concentrated day of writing and analysis.

Debby and Lise have been conducting this workshop for a few years. They know their stuff.

The workshop is Wednesday, June 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Limited to 15 participants. Box lunch included. $150. Deadline is June 6th.

If you have any specific questions, please Contact us and we will forward your query to Deborah and Lise.

This workshop fills early and is a great option for the person who can only spend one day at the conference and wants to concentrate on fiction and novel writing. Or for the person who just knows they won’t enough writing time for himself or herself… unless fully immersed.

“Writing a book is a horrible, exhausting struggle, like a long bout with some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven on my some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand.”
George Orwell

Let this workshop be your cure for what ails your novel.
